If Perkz wins the EU LCS Finals, he’ll be the first player to win 5 Splits in a row

There probably isn’t a single player looking forward to the EU LCS Finals as much as Perkz. The Midlane king of Europe has set his sights on achieving something no one has done before: Being the first player to win five LCS titles in a row.

He currently holds the record of being the only Western player to have won four titles in a row; as for all players globally, he does share this record with Trick and three members of the LMS team Flash Wolves. MMD, SwordArt, and Maple have all achieved this as well.

That said, if you only account for Major Regions by Riot’s definition, Perkz would be the one and only player in the world to have won five titles in a row – if G2 manages to beat Fnatic in a Best of Five of course.
