Jesse “Jesiz” Le Officially Named as Assistant Coach for Misfits Gaming

Just a few days after the former Danish LCS player Jesse “Jesiz” Le announced in an interview with The Shotcaller that he will return in an active role for the 2018 European League of Legends Championship Summer Split, he got announced as a new assistant coach for the EU LCS team Misfits Gaming. Misfits Gaming placed 7th out of ten teams during the previous EU LCS season.

Until the announcement, Le was still under contract with the Fnatic as the substitute Support player after he stepped down from the active roster in late 2017. During the European Masters 2018, he played alongside Froggen, inSec, Expect, and FORG1VEN for Origen where they took the trophy.

“Jesse has a wealth of experience both playing with and coaching top tier talent. I believe his exposure to different players and play styles, along with this own knowledge of roles, will expedite our growth and I’m excited to have him join our coaching staff.”

– Hussain Moosvi, Head Coach for Misfits Gaming

“After a disappointing split, we spent many hours discussing what we can do to amend the results we had. We came to the consensus that we need to add additional infrastructure and depth. There is nobody more qualified to give us that than Jesse.”

– Joe Elouassi, Chief Gaming Officer for Misfits Gaming
