Hjarnan returns to the LEC, joins EXCEL

Petter ‘Hjarnan’ Freyschuss makes a comeback to the highest European competition in League of Legends with joining EXCEL. During the 2019 Spring Split, the Swede competed in the German Premier Tour with ad hoc Gaming.

Ad hoc Gaming only placed fifth in the stacked Premier Tour behind teams like BIG, mousesports, or SK Gaming Prime. However, Hjarnan always stood out and showed that an ERL isn’t the kind of competition where he belongs.

Before joining ad hoc Gaming, Hjarnan played for G2 Esports alongside Kim ‘Wadid’ Bae-in . Together with Perkz, Wunder, and Jankos, they reached the semifinals of the League of Legends World Championship 2018 in Korea.

On EXCEL, he will be reunited with Raymond ‘Kasing’ Tsang. Both already played together under the banner of H2k Gaming in 2015. In an official statement, Hjarnan expressed that he’s incredibly happy for the opportunity to be return to the LEC and to be playing alongside Kasing once more.
