In a public statement on twitter, Fnatic’s Chief Gaming Officer Patrik Sättermon has clarified that “Fnatic has not nor will submit any formal complaint to Riot regarding poaching in LCS/LEC.”
I want to clarify, in regards to recent rumours, Fnatic has not nor will submit any formal complaint to Riot regarding poaching in LCS/LEC.
Put the popcorn down. Let’s look forward to an amazing year of League ahead!

A recent report published by VP Esports yesterday claimed that “several European LCS teams are in the process of making a formal complaint to Riot Games about the conduct of G2 Esports”.
With Fnatic being out of the picture, it begs the question which teams will participate in this complaint – H2k Manager Rich has commented that he finds Fnatic’s decision “disappointing”, which could hint towards an involvement of the former EU LCS team:
Very dissapointing but unsurprising that fnatic backed down. In many ways they are the pride of Europe, but every team knows that when it came to dealing with RIOT, there was only ever 1 Alpha, and that Alpha is now gone. LCS is from now on, a 'yes man' league. 1/2
