As I mentioned in my article about the 4 Take-Aways from Rift Rivals 2018, exclusive jerseys for certain important events have finally become the norm, with a whopping five out of six teams participating repping a different kit than normal.
To give you a bit of a helping hand, I, Darius “don’t call me EU Travis” from The Shotcaller, will give you a little overview of all the jerseys, what I personally think of them, and a link where you can order them. No, none of these links are reflinks, and I’m in no way bought – just giving my personal opinion. Let’s start with the winners of Rift Rivals, the EU LCS representatives!
While G2 didn’t play in these beautiful Navy Blue kits, they certainly carry the European spirit. It’s so European in fact, that the postman will sing “Freude Schöner Götterfunken” when he delivers the package to you, or so I’ve heard.
From the G2 badge being perfectly placed on the chest, alongside the European Flag, and the “G2 Esports” going missing in comparison to the standard jersey, this is an absolutely fantastic take on the kit of the currently best team in Europe. It’s so nice, I ordered two of them. I’m not kidding by the way.

Although Splyce’s showing overall was… Something the team can definitely improve upon, the Snakes showing up in blue-and-white jerseys beat their blue-and-white counterparts of NA when it mattered most! Although the jersey re-design really isn’t something special, maybe it’s the perfect way for EU fans to celebrate their crucial victory over Team Liquid.

While 100 Thieves were arguably the worst NA team at the tournament, only winning once against Splyce during the Group Stage, at least their fashion sense was on point again. The Hypebeast style once again inspired by Baseball-jerseys looks pretty dope. Sadly these jerseys are so exclusive, that there currently is no way for fans to purchase them. If that changes, we’ll keep you updated over at twitter.com/TheShotcallerGG.
Ah yes, America. Land of the free, the cheeseburgers, the people without healthcare. While most of his team was running it down Mid, the true American hero Dardoch tried everything in his power to carry his region over the finish line. While he was unsuccesful in doing so, you can commemorate this veteran’s actions by getting the Echo Fox – MURICA edition jersey – with all the stars and stripes you want.

Additionally, we have this pretty sleek Echo Fox Hoodie, coming in at a whopping 80 bucks. The lettering on the front personally reminds me of race cars, which is not a bad thing whatsoever. However, given that a classic orange Echo Fox Zipper-Hoodie is 20 bucks, maybe you should consider going with this one instead.

Team Liquid was NA’s strongest team during Rift Rivals, and their great design reflects the team spirit: With tons of little cartoony images, the jersey almost reminds you more of a graffiti wall rather than a professional kit. The colours work nicely together, and the fact that the collar got the cartoon-treatment is a very nice touch as well.
The only arguable downside to this version of the TL kit is its brutal reminder of the event it is related to – given the massive “Rift Rivals” slogan on its chest. But if you’re a fan of EU, looking to commemorate the victory by taking the loser’s swag, this might be the perfect option for you!
A cool sidenote here: Jerseys that have player names on their back cost the same as the jerseys with no names on them. Good on you Team Liquid!
Sadly, at the time of this writing, all of the Rift Rivals Team Liquid jerseys have already been sold out.
